Six individuals have been captured in France on doubt of intending to do a "savage" assault on President Emmanuel Macron, authorities say.
The people, answered to be five men and a lady, were gotten by the French security benefits in Brittany, north-east and south-east France.
An examination is presently occurring into a "criminal psychological militant affiliation", a legal source said.
Points of interest of the suspects and the supposed plot have not yet been discharged.
"This examination is investigating a plot, obscure and badly characterized at this stage, including vicious activity against the leader of the republic," investigators said on Tuesday.
